rocktreesky has gone through a number of permutations at this point. It started as a Wordpress blog, then became more of a real site as I pushed Wordpress' mini-CMS abilities when I went freelance. I really started to hit some of Wordpress' limitations at that point, particularly when it came to user/group restrictions. I added Drupal to the mix to achieve what I needed at the time. I already had a lot of work put into the main site and simply didn't have time to migrate the whole thing to Drupal. Once I stopped freelance work in the spring of 2007 I figured it was a good time to just trash the site, just keeping my posts, and start over with Drupal (at version 5.) My day job at Lullabot is all Drupal, all the time, so it is only fitting to run my own site on it as well. ;-)
This site is currently running on Drupal 6 with very few contributed modules. The big ones, and most apparent, probably being Pathauto (and Token) and Tagadelic. I use the small, nifty Read more tweak module to slap that at the end of the teaser rather than down in the normal links listing. I've also got Code Filter for pretty code in my posts and I'm using CVS deploy module so that core's Update status module can keep up with CVS checkouts (versus downloaded tarballs.) It is hosted on a VPS running Ubuntu Gutsy with Slicehost and so far I am totally lovin' it.
