Hello. I’m Addison and you have stumbled onto my little space where I play with the web and talk to the ether. I go by add1sun pretty much everywhere on the web. I'm an American from the Washington, DC area, but I now live permanently in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I love to travel, and I've been doing quite a lot of it the last several years—some for work and some for fun. I was a nomad for about 2 years before I settled in Copenhagen, and while that was a blast, I'm happy to have my roots here in Denmark. I love cooking and sharing a meal with friends and family. I've got quite the nice home bar, and most evenings or weekends (when I'm home) you'll find me geeking out on classic cocktails and mixing it up. You can probably also distract me with a map or by spinning a globe, especially if there is some history involved with it.
In other geekery, I’m an open source advocate and since 2006 I've been working with the Drupal content management system. Myself and several other former colleagues published the O'Reilly book, Using Drupal, at the end of 2008, and a second edition in 2012. I work with open source and Drupal as CEO of Lullabot Education, which is best known for the Drupal training site Drupalize.Me.
